Storytime Santa is taking time out of his busy Christmas Eve schedule to learn how to decorate sugar cookies! Come join Jaime at Spider Monkey’s Bake Shoppe for this fun and interactive kid’s beginner’s cookie decorating class in the barn at Thompson Family Farm.
The cookies and icing will be pre-mixed and provided; no baking necessary!
Class attendees will learn tips and tricks for using piping bags, icing consistency, and they will be creating their own beautiful designs. Santa will be learning right alongside the kids.
Jaime brings with her a wealth of information about baking and decorating.
Jaime started Spider Monkey’s Bake Shoppe, a cottage food business, in 2016. She loves trying new recipes and new decorating techniques with her award-winning cookies!
Jaime’s cottage bakery is out of her home in Farmington. Her husband Andrew and five kids are active in the business and are often seen at her farmer’s market booth or helping in the kitchen.
What to expect:
Our Kid’s Class with Santa is geared towards kids 6 years old and older.
Pre-baked cookies and pre-mixed icing are provided. You are welcome to purchase additional take-home kits to continue to practice your skills at home.
This class will take place in our barn at the farm. We will have space heaters running and will do our best to keep the space as warm as possible, however please dress accordingly.
This is not a drop-off class; all children must come with an adult. Adults are more than welcome to take the class with their children. One ticket per person please!
Early bird pricing of $65 per ticket is in effect now through Thanksgiving.
